We’re hiring a Paid Media Principal to lead digital performance strategy across client accounts. This is a high-seniority role ideal for someone who can independently audit, plan, and optimize cross-channel paid media programs while managing client relationships, guiding junior team members, and collaborating with creative and lifecycle leads.
You’ll lead with both strategic clarity and channel fluency—able to speak to ROAS, CAC, AOV trends, audience design, budget planning, and creative testing frameworks with confidence. You’ll join a broader team of Monark & Co. consultants, including specialists in email, creative, affiliate, and influencer marketing—making this a collaborative leadership position with plenty of support behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do
This role balances high-level thinking and hands-on stewardship. You’ll drive media strategy across platforms like Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snap—while ensuring all campaigns, budgets, creative plans, and performance reporting align to the client’s growth goals.
You’ll be expected to lead paid media audits, map strategic roadmaps, and own client communications. You’ll also oversee execution (with the support of Coordinators or Channel Specialists), reviewing everything from ad copy to segmentation, platform setup, and weekly pacing reports.
- Lead paid media audits across Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat
- Build integrated media plans with clear growth targets and budget allocations
- Translate brand, product, and lifecycle goals into high-performing acquisition strategies
- Oversee in-platform builds, QA, and optimization in partnership with junior talent
- Manage performance pacing and budget reallocation across campaigns and channels
- Identify creative opportunities and brief asset needs, iterations, and testing cadences
- Analyze reporting across platform dashboards, GA4, Triple Whale, and Shopify
- Prepare monthly performance summaries and strategic recommendations
- Own client calls and communications, proactively flagging risks, wins, and next steps
- Collaborate with internal consultants across lifecycle, affiliate, creative, and data
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years of experience in paid media and digital growth strategy
- Proven success owning strategy and performance across multiple channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
- Fluency in creative testing strategy, audience design, and budget forecasting
- Hands-on familiarity with campaign management tools and analytics platforms
- Comfortable running audits and presenting findings to executive stakeholders
- Skilled in structuring and prioritizing paid media roadmaps
- Excellent client communication and project management skills
- Experience overseeing and mentoring junior media buyers or coordinators
- Bonus: familiarity with affiliate platforms, influencer workflows, or DTC eComm patterns
Role Details

- Location: Remote; hybrid option available for candidates in the Philadelphia area
- Schedule: Flexible hours, 10–30 hours/week depending on account load
- Compensation: $100–$125/hour, based on experience
