Monark & Co. is seeking a sharp, self-starting freelance Social Media Marketing Coordinator who lives and breathes social media—and is as comfortable generating lo-fi content ideas as they are managing posts, engagement, and reposts across Instagram and TikTok.
You’re not just a scheduler. You understand what drives engagement and culture on each platform. You’re fluent in Reels, CapCut, trending audio, visual memes, and social storytelling. You’re a hands-on creative contributor who’s deeply in tune with performance, tone, and aesthetic.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day execution across Instagram and TikTok for one or more Monark & Co. clients, including scheduling, posting, and reporting
- Ideate, storyboard, and produce original content formats using native tools and/or Canva, CapCut, and similar
- Source, secure, and repost community and UGC content with rights clearance and proper attribution
- Actively manage platform engagement (comments, DMs, shares, etc.) with tone-perfect responses
- Track platform trends, hashtags, audio, and visual storytelling to feed into content planning
- Collaborate with email and influencer leads to maintain a cross-channel brand voice and coordinate campaign rollouts
- Compile and interpret social metrics to surface insights and content performance recaps
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years experience running social for brands, ideally in lifestyle, fashion, or CPG
- Portfolio or feed examples showing visual taste, format fluency, and original content execution
- Strong writing skills with a clear sense of tone and voice adaptation
- Experience with tools like Planoly, Later, Metricool, Sprout, or native platform schedulers
- Canva, CapCut, or basic Adobe Suite knowledge required
- Must be available for consistent weekly hours (minimum ~10–15 per week)
Estimated Rate: $30–$60/hour (based on experience and role scope)
